 The Second Annual Turkey Tournament was again a hit, though for the winners I'm not sure they were expecting frozen turkey's as their trophy. Regardless we had a great showing of members and guests. For those who did not see the action over the 4+ hours of play I'll break it down for you. As the commissioner I built, what some might call, a "stacked" team. We decided to lose the first game and play through the losers bracket (to get more games in of course). During the semi-finals, Tim Lindow suffers a phantom injury which causes his team to pick up Scott Lupo, who makes a 3 pointer during, what I can only describe as, a hockey style line change, which knocks us out of the race for the Turkeys. Sub Lupo moves onto the finals to eventually lose to Dempsey's team. Overall, I think the night was a good chance to mix up the players and also share our fun with some of our friends outside of the club. January will soon be here which brings the annual 3 on 3 tourney.
